Zahra Darvish is currently one of the Iranian Central Bar Association’s attorneys at law working in Tehran. She is also a PhD student in Oil and Gas Law at Shahid Beheshti University with her Master’s being in International Trade Law from the same university. A member of Iran’s National Elites Foundation and considered a Talented Student, she also has two BAs from Tehran University, one in Law, the other in English Literature. While she has a lot of working experience in drafting contracts and documents in various fields of National and International Trade Law such as Sales, Carriage of Goods, Agency, she also has a wide range of knowledge with regard to Iran’s Tender Regulations and Procedures for the Public Sector, Iranian Buy-Back Service Contracts in Oil and Gas Industry, Conflict of Laws, Claim Management and Dispute Resolution, Recognition and Enforcement of International Judgments and Arbitration Awards, etc. Having studied English literature and having lived in Scotland for more than 3 years between the years 1992 and 1996 brought her distinct skill in working in the field of International Trade Law. One of Zahra Darvish’s main fields of specialty is giving legal advice and drafting contracts related to International Construction Projects, as she is familiar with both FIDIC’s various types of construction contracts and with Iran’s General Construction Conditions set for different types of construction projects specially where the public sector is the employer of such projects.

To have given more detail about her working career, it must be added that apart from being an attorney at law since 2010, Zahra Darvish has worked as the Legal Head of Pasargad Oil Company and is presently Hormoz Pasargad Bitumen Product Company’s legal advisor on its international contracts being drafted. Furthermore, she has had experience lecturing at Karaj Payam-e-Nour University. Zahra Darvish started cooperating with the International Law Firm of Dr. Hatami and Associates from August 2014 and since then has been actively involved in the cases which were referred to this firm.
